Dynamical Systems in Unramified or Totally Ramified Extensions of the p-adic Number Field

Abstract:

We will investigate a class of discrete dynamical systems in finite extensions of the field of p-adic numbers. The fixed points of the dynamical systems that we study are zeros of an irreducible polynomial of prime degree.
