In my mathematical life, I have been concentrating on the applications of mixed Hodge theory to singularity theory, in particular to the geometry of hypersurface singularities. An invariant I like very much is the singularity spectrum. An algorithm to compute it was developed in the master class testproblem of Mathias Schulze. This was published in a joint paper with Mathias.
Currently I am very interested in the geometry of discriminants.
A recent paper with Chris Peters deals with the degeneration of the Leray spectral sequence of certain quotient mappings.
