An overview of generalised complex geometry
I will give an overview of generalised complex geometry, starting from its inception as a common generalisation of complex and symplectic geometries, relations to string theory including \(T\)-duality and mirror symmetry and more recent work on stable generalised complex structures. Finally I will mention the main open problems in the area.
