BCOV invariants for Calabi-Yau manifolds
The BCOV invariant, named after Bershadsky, Cecotti, Ooguri and Vafa, is a real valued invariant for Calabi-Yau manifolds, defined using Ray-Singer analytic torsion. I report my joint work with Yeping Zhang on the birational invariance of the BCOV invariants, as well as its extension to the singular varieties.
