Sheaves on Stacky Curves

Abstract

In this talk I will try to summarise my activities of the past 5 years into a little bit less than an hour. My research is focussed on the study of coherent sheaves on stacky curves through moduli theory. Depending on the audience background I will first explain what stacky curves and sheaves are and give some preliminary results. Next I will give an idea of what moduli theory is about and give an overview of the moduli theoretic results of my thesis. One of the main applications is a (partial) computation of invariants (the Voevodsky motive) of the moduli stacks.
