From complexity to efficiency, the case for distributed preconditioning
In this talk, we will take a look at numerical linear algebra, where we will focus on solving many large linear systems, which are parameterized due to the underlying application. We do this by sharing the computed preconditioners between computations, which allows us to reduce computation times up to a factor of 10! If all of this does make a lot of sense right now, do not panic. We will go through the basics along the way.
