Ioan Mărcuț

I am assistant professor at the Radboud University Nijmegen, Institute for Mathematics, Astrophysics and Particle Physics.

I do research in Poisson Geometry. More specifically, I worked on problems related to the local structure of Poisson manifolds, and on understanding the deformation space of Poisson structures.

A list with my publications is contained in my CV.

Here are the lecture notes to the mini-course on Dirac Geometry, which I gave at the 10th International Young Researcher Workshop on Geometry, Mechanics and Control, Paris, January 2016; and here are some extra exercises.

Here you can find the lecture notes to the Manifolds course I taught in the fall of 2017.

Workshop Poisson aan de Waal, 12-14 December 2018.

Workshop Higher Geometric Structures along the Lower Rhine, 31 January - 1 February 2019.
