Density theorems for discrete series restricted to lattices
The density theorem provides a trichotomy that precisely describes the spanning properties of a given lattice orbit of a discrete series representation in terms of the lattice co-volume. An elementary proof based on frame and representation theory will be outlined. In addition, recent quantitative aspects of the density theorem for classes of Lie groups will be presented.
