Research Interests

Algebraic and symplectic geometry: moduli spaces and stacks (of vector bundles, Higgs bundles, sheaves and quiver representations), group actions and quotients (geometric invariant theory, moment maps, symplectic and hyperkähler reduction), motives of moduli spaces and stacks.

Activities

I am a managing editor at a new open access journal Moduli owned by the Foundation Compositio Mathematica and published with CUP and LMS.
The journal is already open to submissions and the first volume is expected in 2024.

From January - June 2024, I am co-organising a semester at the Isaac Newton Institute Cambridge on New equivariant methods in algebraic and differential geometry.

From 10 -14 July 2023, I am organising a workshop Motives in moduli and representation theory in Nijmegen.

In May 2023, I am speaking at the workshop Refined invariants in Moduli Theory in SISSA Trieste.

From 16 - 20 October, I am speaking at the Conference Categories and stacks in algebraic geometry and algebraic topology in CIRM Luminy.

Together with the Vector Bundles on Algebraic Curves (VBAC) Committee we launched an online seminar series in 2020. For more information, see the VBAC website.
