Recent activities

From January - June 2024, I am co-organising a semester at the Isaac Newton Institute Cambridge on New equivariant methods in algebraic and differential geometry.

In January 2023, I gave a mini-course at the 12th Swiss-French workshop in Algebraic Geometry.

In January 2023, I gave a talk at the conference Quivers, Clusters, Moduli and Stability (to celebrate Alastair King's Birthday) in Oxford.

In December 2022 I ran a workshop at the Proefstudeerdag Wiskunde (Experience Day for Mathematics) at Radboud University Nijmegen.

In July 2022 I gave a talk at the VBAC 2022 Conference (In honour of Peter Newstead).

In January and April 2022 I ran a workshop at the Proefstudeerdag Wiskunde (Experience Day for Mathematics) at Radboud University Nijmegen.

In November 2021 I spoke at the DESDA student symposium (Radboud University Nijmegen).

In October 2021 I gave a talk (virtually) in Stockholm at Motives and Hodge theory.

In September 2021 I gave a talk in Münster at Representation theory's hidden motives.

In July 2021 I gave talks (online) in the VBAC session on Geometry and Quantization of Moduli Spaces and in the MCA 2021 session on Moduli spaces in algebraic geometry and applications.

In June 2021 I spoke at the conference on Geometric and analytic aspects of moduli spaces of Higgs bundles inn Strasbourg.

In January 2021 I gave a series of talks at the GQT Graduate School.

Together with the Vector Bundles on Algebraic Curves (VBAC) Committee we launched an online seminar series in 2020. For more information, see the VBAC website.

In December 2020 I gave a talk at the EDGE Wokshop on Explicit K-stability and moduli problems.

Postponened to 2021: I am giving a course at the Spring School: Invariants in algebraic geometry on Geometric Invariant Theory for non-reductive groups.

In Spring 2020, I co-organised the Intercity Geometry Seminar on the P=W conjecture for parabolic Higgs bundles and perverse decompositions on Hilbert schemes (after Junliang Shen and Zili Zhang).

In January 2020 I started an assistant professorship in geometry at the Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands.

In September 2019 I gave a course at the Summer School on motives and stacks on Voevodsky motives of moduli stacks (joint work with Simon Pepin Lehalleur).

Outreach

Together with Michael Gröchenig, we organised a workshop at the FU Berlin as part of Girl's Day Berlin in April 2017 and 2018 entitled Dreiecke, Farben, Kuchen on Sperner's Lemma about colourings of triangulations of triangles and applications to the fair division of cake.
